I'm with you! I was so for sure it was going to be violet and then to see it red, kind of a let down, though I guess red will work. I still think she should do a fourth and have it be violet!

its really pretty but yeah i thought it would be a light purple since the other books are in cool color shades and dark pink/light red is kind of on the opposite spectrum.

I like it still, the picture's cool, going with the theme, I think a purple color would've been nice too. Or another cool color to go with the green and blue. Oh well. Still a nice cover!

I was thinking it was a play of color on the season. Blue for winter and all the gnarly trees, (I haven't read the 2nd yet but this is just what I thought:) Green for spring with all the new little leaves and now Red for the summer heat and all that. But purple would have been really pretty too!

I love this cover... I hadn't really thought about what I wanted, but I think it works.
