Cover Wars-- Carrie Ryan Edition
Lots of people do this "Cover Wars" thing, and I found a good one, so I'm gonna do it to.
Here are the US and UK covers for Carrie Ryan's The Forest of Hands and Teeth.
Which do you prefer? For me it's hands down the UK cover. I just think it's more... eery. I'm actually waiting a month so that I can buy the sequel, The Dead Tossed Waves, from the UK. Here's TDTW covers side by side:

ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with the US covers on this one. They are just much more descriptive. The UK covers seem blah to me.

I go with the UK covers. I like to create my own heroine image, or whatever. I am not a fan of photos on most book covers.
