Time for Cramming!!

I have read 79 books this year, that is one of my lowest counts ever! I've got to bring that up. So, for the last 9 days of December I am going to cram. But the thing is, I need more books! I dunno what to read!

So, welcome to another recommendation post! What have you read that you really liked?

  1. Hunger Games, The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, Ivy, Born Confused, and Graceling. Haha, that should give you a few choices.

  2. Read the Hunger Games (Loved it!), tried to read Landau-Banks (Really disliked it), but I haven't heard of the others. Muahaha! Thanks Gretchen!

  6. I second Gretchen's Graceling, and raise you a Shadow of the Wind (which is not technically YA, but a must-read for all hardcore booklovers). I'm reading Wondrous Strange right now and it's turning out better than I hoped for!

All right, glancing down my Good Reads list:

Song of the Sparrow, Anne of the Island, the Keys to the Kingdom series, The Plain Janes, Trouble, The Perilous Gard, Quest for a Maid, and Surprised by Joy.

  8. Wow, I still think that's a lot of books!! Hm, I don't know if you're a fan of historical fiction or diary-format novels, but I really like the Lady Grace books. You can only buy the first seven (though it's hard to get the seventh one), but the first six should be easy to get. They're about an Elizabethan maid-of-honor who secretly solves mysteries for the Queen. They're quite intriguing and fun reads! :D

Good luck on book cramming! Hope you had a fantastic Christmas! :D
