Since I mostly see you in feed anyway, I'm not against it.

Personally, I don't think I'd put an ad on my blog. But that's partly because I know I wouldn't make any money off of it. And partly because I don't blog to make money.

But I also don't mind them on other people's blogs at all, as long as they are small and tactful.

I wouldn't mind if it were at the bottom, or if it were discretly on the side. I don't like when they're the first and largest thing you see on a blog, though. Just my 2 cents worth!

Ok, if you want perfect honestly... I think ads on a blog are kind of a sell-out. Unless your blog is something that is meant to sell things, like if you mostly post about things to buy and stuff. Otherwise, I just feel like it's annoying and sort of...low.

(I realize that sounds harsh, and normally I wouldn't be that blatant, but you said honesty...)

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I'm not really against it, as long as they're not all over the place. I was wondering the same thing.

Erin, you aren't being harsh. I totally agree with you. I always look at blogs with ads with a slight sense of... disdain.

*shrug* I'm not gonna do it. I'll probably earn $.05 anyway, and I think it's tacky.

If you want to put an ad in, I can hardly blame you. I'm not opposed to it; frankly, I don't mind. I'll probably just ignore it. If it can earn you a little bit of cash ont eh side, that's great for you. :)

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I'd be interested in knowing, though, why people look down on blogs with ads?

i think blog ads are tacky, and you wouldn't earn much money either. i actually agree with the thought that blog ads are low. they just seem like you're selling out, and aren't very impressive. if you added them, this page would start to look like facebook, and everyone knows how bad the ads make it look!

But I think a small, tasteful ad isn't that bad. It doesn't bother anybody, and how would Enna be selling out if she already works so hard on her blog?
