As to my readers, you can probably tell by now that I loved this book. I feel floaty and happy inside.

This isn’t a rollercoaster of a book. It won’t have you on the edge of your seat and screaming. What it is, is… a ride on a cloud. It’s a little scary to be up so high, but the setting is comfortable, and the view is exhilarating.

Oh look at me, I’m getting metaphorical. Here, I’ll start talking straight.

Enchanted Ivy is a magical ride full of twists and turns and MAGIC. I want to believe such a place like Princeton University exists. Oh, wait! It does! Some day I vow to travel there and get the gargoyles to speak to me.

It isn’t a deep book, but I certainly wouldn’t call it fluff. I read it in one day as I walked across campus (always a dangerous venture) and the pages just seemed to fly by.

My only complaint (and the reason it got 4 flowers) is I wish there had been more! I wanted more detail, more character relationships, more time! I liked Ice better because I had more time with the characters. I finished Enchanted Ivy feeling like it wasn’t quite over yet. I only got a brief glimpse into this world. Not enough. Not nearly enough.
