More winnings, and a TBR pile!

All right, first off, the winner of my followers recommendation contest is KIRTHI! Yay Kirthi! She recommended GABY. Hi, Gaby! Glad to have you as a follower! Kirthi, I need you to e-mail me so I can put in your order for Forest Born UK edition.

Okay. Now. I haven't had much time to read (Guys, college is hard.) So my TBR pile just keeps building, and building, and building. My grandma recently commented on the largeness of her TBR pile, so I decided to show you guys mine. I couldn't do it in a picture though, this required a video:

If I'm counting correctly that's THIRTY-NINE (39) BOOKS!!! And the crazy thing is, I really do want to read them all.

As soon as the term is over, I'm going to have a read-a-thon. ...while working two jobs.

Yeesh.

But I will admit looking at the pile makes me very happy, and excited. Yay for reading!

You lucky Goose!

Wahoo! Time to announce the winners! I did pick three, because we had 47 entries and I wanted roughly a 1 in 15 shot at winning. Otherwise it's just no fun!

Before I announce the winners, some random facts:

My copies of these books just arrived. They are even more gorgeous in person! Seriously! I love them. I'll definitely be giving another one of these away in my 200 followers contest. I just love them so much! This means I now own 3 copies of B1000, 2 copies of PA, 3 copies of RS, 4 copies of EB, and 4 copies of GG! Heh. Do you think I'm overdoing it? ;)

Also, I found it very interesting how the different books you guys wanted were distributed, here's a graph I made:

Only 4% wanted Enna Burning! That one's my favorite! *sigh* I guess the rest of the world doesn't think the same as me. I should be used to that by now. ;)

But I'm about to show you that statistics aren't everything, because here come the WINNERS!

I picked the winners using RANDOM.org, as usual. Just 3 randomly selected numbers. All up to fate. And this is what happened... the winners, in no particular order, are:

MILLI
(she wins The Goose Girl)
HOLLY CUPALA
(she wins Enna Burning)
AJA
(she wins River Secrets)

How cool is that?! I did not mess with these results at all, and yet my three winners were all DIFFERENT Bayern books! I thought for sure neither of the Enna Burning people would win. But they did! And just out of curiosity I kept generating random numbers to see how long it would take to find a B100 winner. It took me 11 times! That's really unlikely! Don't you just love randomness? It's so... random!

Sigh. Aren't giveaway's great? Oh. And if you didn't win, don't despair! You can still win my followers recommendation contest, or stay tuned for my 200 followers giveaway (only 2 more!), which will be featuring these titles as well!

Happy hunting!

.... I don't know why I said that.

C'est FINI!

It's over! Stop the presses! The results are in!

Please allow 24 hours for processing...

I'll have the winner, as well as some cool stats, posted tomorrow. And by tomorrow I mean 12:00am May 7th. See you then! (or not... 'cause I'll actually be asleep. Yay for scheduled posting!)

One more day!

You have one more day to enter my giveaway! And that's not 24 hours, folks. It's more like... *counts*... 15 hours! Dun, dun, DUN! *dramatic music*

I've gotten enough entrants to DEFINITELY give away 2 books, just a few more and I'll give away 3!

Click here to enter the giveaway!

Oh, and you guys have done GREAT at getting more followers. Only three more!

Despair. And then hope again!

Giveaway ends in just TWO DAYS! Hurry and enter if you haven't yet.

Also, very few people have recommended followers to win FB! Or those followers aren't filling out the form. Is there no love for Forest Born? ;) That one ends in SIX DAYS

*sigh* I didn't make it to Borders before the coupon expired. My local borders isn't really local, it's a 30 minute drive to get there, and I just didn't have the time.

But, most of you probably saw that they just sent out ANOTHER coupon for 33% off anything!

I love Borders.

I took all the books you recommended and put them into a list. I'm a patron of three different libraries (Yes, three) and so I searched all those to see which of your books I couldn't find at a library. The only one I couldn't find anywhere was The Devouring by Simon Holt (recommended by Milli, thanks!). It looks super-creepy and good! So I'm gonna try and head down there today and grab it.

You guys are so great. You suggested so many great books that I've never even HEARD of before! I'm so excited. Much love to my blogger friends!

'course... I'll be more excited when my 7-week calculus binge is over. Then I can actually READ again!

THANK YOU!!!!
